Angela is Managing Partner and founder of Taxhouse and a member of the global Board of Directors of Taxand. She has over 25 years of experience in local and international tax consulting at Taxhouse, EY and Arthur Andersen, as well as industry experience in finance and accounting at P&G. Angela is also a member of the Board of Romanian Business Leaders (RBL), the largest business community of Romanian entrepreneurs, as well as leader of the organization’s taxation task force. She is also a member of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO), Greater Europe Chapter.

Angela is a certified tax consultant authorized by the Chamber of Tax Consultants, a lecturer and speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on tax matters, as well as an active member of the working groups on tax issues of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham) and the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) in Romania.

She represents the business environment in the permanent dialogue with the Governments and the Parliament as leader of the RBL taxation task force and Amcham’s dedicated tax working group, as well as an active member of ROPEA, the Romanian Private Equity Association, promoting the interests of the Romanian private equity and venture capital industry.

Working with multinational companies and large Romanian or regional companies, as well as Romanian entrepreneurs, she advises on tax restructuring and direct and indirect taxation for a wide range of corporate activities and complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and assistance to high-net-worth individuals, clients in various fields, such as private equity and venture capital funds, defense, infrastructure, consumer goods, banks and leasing companies, pharmaceutical and real estate companies, global investment banks active on the Romanian capital market, etc.

Angela is a graduate of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest (1996) and of the MBA program of the Institute of Business and Public Administration of the University of Washington, Seattle, USA (2001).
